K7 EVALUATION SYSTEM

CUSTOMER INSTALLATION CHECKLIST

1. We need you to complete and submit this Customer Installation Checklist within 30 days of receiving your K7. This is a very important
part of our quality assurance program.

2. Unpack your K7 system and, using the checklist below, verify that the system is functioning correctly by running the K7 tutorial. If not,
contact us at once by calling our Technical Support Department at 800-426-0316 or emailing service@myotronics.com to remedy the situation.

3. As you become familiar with the system, you will see how simple it is to operate and will quickly become comfortable with the procedures.
We cannot emphasize strongly enough how much more you will derive from your K7 if you take the small amount of time to go through this familiarization process. The more time you can devote to this, the more you will benefit from the equipment.

Unpack your K7 and connect it as instructed in the K7 Manual on Pages 3-15. *

Remove the Keyboard label from the front left pocket of the K7 manual and place it above the function keys (F1-F12)
on your computer keyboard. There are two keyboard labels, choose the one that best fits your keyboard. *

Load the K7 software. Refer to page 4 in the K7 Manual on how to load the K7 software. *

Double click on the K7 Tutorial Icon to run the K7 Tutorial Program. The Tutorial will take approximately 20-30 minutes and requires that you hook up one of your assistants to record Jaw Tracking and EMG data. You will obtain the most benefit from your K7 by practicing on your assistants or family members during the familiarization process. The tutorial will give you an overview of the K7 system and how it operates. Follow the instructions on the screen exactly while running the Tutorial. There's also an Advanced Tutorial you should run that goes over Scans 1-18. *

Please push the F12 key and enter “9”, for a Scan 9. Allow the scan to run the entire time and take 15 seconds of data. This Scan will assure you that your connection is correct, and your software was installed properly.*
