The J5 Dental TENS Unit
The battery-operated J5 Dental TENS unit, like its predecessor the J4, delivers controlled, periodic, bilateral electrical stimulation to help provide muscle relaxation, increased blood circulation, and increased range of motion.
The J5 Dental TENS unit is the latest in a succession of Myotronics products with a history of over fifty years of clinical effectiveness. It is known that cervical muscles play a significant role in head posture and consequently may impact occlusion. The J5 incorporates 4 bilateral patient stimulation channels for effective relaxation of masticatory and cervical muscles.

The J5 Dental TENS unit provides four patient stimulation channels, each left and right pair with its own controls. Now, with the ability to stimulate four muscle sites simultaneously, the J5 helps improve treatment efficacy while saving time for doctor and patient. Two channels may be turned off when not required.
Like its forerunners, it is the only true simultaneous 4 channel bi-lateral stimulator of its kind and incorporates unique, fail-safe circuitry. A valuable tool in office procedures for occlusal adjustment and in bite registration, it is also useful in the treatment of some types of TMD dysfunction and associated pain.
